Patti, owner of Maggie Anne's, was born and raised in Hillsdale, and is a Hillsdale College alumnus. Upon graduation, she worked for Jacobson's Specialty Department Stores in their management training program. Patti learned everything about the business - from display, to the warehouse, to accounting, to buying offices. Patti was then promoted to manager of Sweets and Treats, Electronics, and Stationary in Dearborn, MI. After a year, she was promoted to Assistant Buyer of Girls 7-14 at Jacobson's. She eventually became the buyer of Preteen, and girls size 4-6x. After staying home with her oldest child for a year, in 1995, Patti purchased Maggie Anne's with a partner, Diane MacLennan. Patti bought Diane out 10 years later, and now is the sole owner.
Patti and her husband, Greg, have two grown children, Megan and Ryan and a granddaughter, Lily. They live in Hillsdale with their dog, Maggie, who comes to the store on occasion. When she's not working, she loves to spend time with family, sing with her a capella trio, The Unforgettables, read, and exercise. |
Lorraine has been with the Maggie Anne's staff for over 20 years; she's a local legend! She will love to show you her favorite scarf tying methods and assists in buying items for the store. Outside of the store, you can find Lorraine at the casino, cooking in the kitchen or playing cards!
A senior at Hillsdale College, Jackie will be leaving us in May 2019. She has been a great asset to the store since her Freshman year. Jackie is extremely detailed and organized, and creates beautiful in-store and window displays. Outside of the store, you can find her studying and running!
